Madre Cucina Italiana is a cozy restaurant located in the heart of old Panama City – Casco Viejo, next to Plaza Herrera.

During our dinner we decided to order a wonderful cheese plate instead of pizza. It had a lovely variety and the outdoor atmosphere made the dining experience such a pleasure.
When we visited this quaint eatery the lights from Christmas and New Year’s celebrations still lit up the square.
The combination of a relaxing atmosphere, people watching exercise and lights/music, we all agreed that the old city in Panama offered a wonderful travelling experience.
For those considering visiting or moving to Panama, the old city is definitely a place you want to experience.
There are many eateries but this is definitely one worth trying.
